
A good crowd watches New Zealand's Black Caps play Australia in a one-day cricket game in February 2007. In order to attract international games, the Hamilton City Council invested in the upgrade of Seddon Park. This included the installation of lights in 1999. The result was that Seddon Park became a regular venue for international cricket in the 2000s.
