In 1905 an Australasian team competed for the Davis Cup in an international tournament held at Wimbledon. The team members are (from left) Norman Brookes and J. Dunlop, who were both from Victoria, and Anthony Wilding and H. Parker from New Zealand. Although on this occasion the team did not win the Davis Cup, Australasia, with Wilding's help, did so from 1907 to 1909. During these years New Zealand also competed in an Australasian team at the Olympic Games of 1908 and 1912.
