Burial service, Taupiri, 2011

A long line of mourners follows the pallbearers as they carry the coffin of Whatumoana Paki, father of the reigning Māori King, to its resting place on Taupiri Mountain, near Huntly. Every Māori monarch has been buried on the summit of this sacred urupā (cemetery).
