New Zealand badminton team members Donna Haliday (of Ngāti Rangi) and Henry Tam train at Badminton Hall in Auckland for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. By 2013 New Zealand's highest placing in this competition was a silver medal in the women's doubles at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
