Friday night futsal

Brazilian Osmar Bastisti, Ian Allen (originally from Northern Ireland) and Mexican Alvar del Castillo compete for the ball during a game of indoor football or futsal at the Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000 in 2013. Indoor football has become increasingly popular in New Zealand, attracting males and females from many different backgrounds and of all ages. The games have a strong social element. They involve having fun and catching up with friends, as well as striving to win.
