Century of Sewing museum, Tauranga

Century of Sewing museum, Tauranga

Retired school sewing teacher Raewyn Yeoman runs the Century of Sewing museum from her home in Tauranga. All the machines are the American Singer brand, which predominated in New Zealand until the 1970s, when European machines such as Bernina became more popular. The oldest machine in her collection was made in 1893.
