Baby shower

Baby shower

For many older people, time spent with mokopuna (grandchildren) is an enjoyable part of their routine. Bill and Jenny Power (far left) are seen here with their children, children's partners and grandchildren, at a baby shower in 2008. Triplets and a singleton had been born into their family within 24 hours of each other. There was already a one-year-old and an 8-year-old. The Powers spent time every week with their grandchildren. ‘Jenny and I go out every Friday and help’, said Mr Power. ‘Gives everyone a bit of a break.’
