Auckland power-boat race 1964

The starters head off in an offshore power-boat race at Westhaven, Auckland, on 11 April 1964. The race consisted of a 100-mile (161-kilometre) lap of Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour. It was the beginning of serious offshore powerboat racing in New Zealand.
