Marise Chamberlain, 1964 Olympics

Middle-distance runner Marise Chamberlain (middle in black) was New Zealand's foremost female runner in the 1950s and 1960s. She won a bronze medal in the 800 metres at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo – here she is just about to cross the finishing line behind Ann Packer of Great Britain and Maryvonne Dupureur of France.
