Travis Wilson, 2009

Travis Wilson bats for the Black Sox against Denmark at the ISF (International Softball Federation) World Championship in Saskatoon, Canada in 2009. Aged 19, Wilson was a member of the world champion New Zealand softball team in 1996, then played baseball in the USA from 1997 to 2004. He played in the minor leagues for the Atlanta Braves’ feeder teams, narrowly missing out on a slot in the major league team. He then returned to New Zealand and played softball for the Black Sox again from 2005 to 2009.
