ISF World Softball Championship parade, 1976

A crowd cheers the South African team as the participants in the 1976 ISF (International Softball Federation) Men's World Softball Championship march through Lower Hutt, the tournament's host city (top). There were mixed reactions to the South African presence. At the tournament itself around 2,000 anti-apartheid protesters gathered (bottom).
