Interior of the Gourmet, 1960s

Dutch immigrant Otto Groen opened the Gourmet restaurant in central Auckland in 1954. It was an exclusive establishment that catered for the wealthy. This is the interior of the Gourmet in the 1960s. The mural was painted by David Kennedy.
