Māori wardens, 2006

This Māori warden was one of many who assisted visitors and helped to control crowds at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds on Waitangi Day 2006. She is seen in the grounds' whare rūnanga (meeting house), which has carvings representing all the iwi in the country.
