Joan Harnett

Joan Harnett was a Canterbury player who was selected for the New Zealand teams that contested world tournaments in 1963, 1967 and 1971 (as captain). She retired in 1974 and went on to coach the Canterbury team. An outstanding player, she also attracted media attention because of her good looks.
