Agricultural study camp, Feilding, around 1910

The dishwashing patrol lines up at the annual agricultural camp at Short's farm, Armadale, near Feilding, around 1910. Boys studying agriculture at schools in Taihape, Hunterville, Marton, Whanganui and Feilding attended the two-week camp. They slept under canvas while receiving practical instruction in the daytime and lectures at night. Medals were awarded to the best-performing students.
