Modern marching: beginners

This young marching team, the Kiwis, consisting of girls under the age of eight, was photographed practising in 2006. Members were (from left) Abbey Cochrane (5), Annasnae Redditt (5), Anaka Alexander-Laing (6), Antena Solomon (7) and Shantae Frisby (7). They took part in a non-competitive event at the Otago-Southland combined marching competitions at Balclutha that year.
