Uniforms: the Pirates

Whangārei team the Pirates stand to attention in their eye-catching uniforms during the costume judging at a competition in the 1940s or 1950s. The chevron stripes on the dresses, hats and boots are striking, and when the team marched the effect was especially dazzling.
