Story: Bowls, pétanque and tenpin

Jordan Tuite

Jordan Tuite

Jordan Tuite bowls his way to a perfect 300 score at the Kapiti Tenpin bowling alley in February 2012. A perfect game consists of 12 strikes (when all ten pins fall) in a row – one strike in each of the first nine frames and three strikes in the 10th frame. This was the first time a youth bowler – aged 20 or under – had achieved this since 2005. Jordan competed at the National Championships in 2012, finishing second in the youth section.
