School sport, Wellington, 1984

Since 1922 students of St Patrick's College and several other Wellington boys' schools have competed annually for the McEvedy Shield athletics trophy. In 1984 the shield was won by St Patrick's (Town). It is shown here with three students – (from left) Paul Conroy, Peter Lacey and Stefan Mazur.
