Boxing is a combat sport in which two people punch each other according to a set of rules. Boxers wear padded gloves to protect their hands. The bout is controlled by a referee. Here, New Zealander Shane Cameron (left) lands a jab punch on Kevin Montiy from the United States in 2008. Cameron knocked out Montiy in the fifth round of the bout and successfully defended his International Boxing Federation Pan-Pacific and World Boxing Organisation Oriental heavyweight titles. Cameron went on to lose these to New Zealander David Tua in 2009.
