Sending money to family ‘back home’

New Zealand migrants often retain ties to their country of origin and to family members still living there. Many still send money home, their funds helping relatives and preserving cherished relationships. This shop window in Newtown, Wellington, has two advertisements for the transfer money to Samoa or other international destinations.
