A bach-inspired beach home

This modern beach house at Te Horo,south of Ōtaki, draws on some of the features of the traditional New Zealand bach. Its design (essentially a couple of sheds and pavilions that meet over a fireplace) recalls the simplicity and practicality of the typical holiday home.
