Syd Jackson and Dennis Brutus

Syd Jackson (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Porou) greets Dennis Brutus, president of the South African Non-Racial Olympic Committee, with a hongi at Auckland airport in 1969. Jackson was an important member of activist group Ngā Tamatoa and was active in Māori protests.
