Māori representatives, Bay of Plenty Regional Council

In 2004 Bay of Plenty Regional Council became the country's first regional council to introduce statutory representation for Māori. In 2011 the Māori councillors were Tipene Marr (back, far right), Raewyn Bennett (front, second from left) and Tai Eru (front, third from right).
