Wrestling a croc

In the early 1960s Crump and Jean Watson spent some time living in North Queensland, where they hunted crocodiles and sold the skins to make a living. It was a dangerous, rugged way of life but Crump relished it, later capturing the essence of the period and place in his novel Gulf (1964).
