Biography: Whaanga, Hirini Te Rito

In 1898 Hirini Te Rito Whaanga returned to New Zealand from Utah in the United States and conducted a Mormon mission among Māori. He is pictured aboard the SS Aorangi beyond Fiji in April that year.
