Tino rangatiratanga flag: one among many (2nd of 3)

Tino rangatiratanga flag: one among many

The tino rangatiratanga flag was prominent during the foreshore and seabed hīkoi (march) of 2004, when Māori and others protested about the government's plans in this area. Other Māori flags visible in this photo include a Red Ensign (probably a tribal one) at left, the United Tribes flag (bottom right) and the Tūhoe flag (top right).
