Richard Nixon at Government House

Government House in Wellington has hosted the Queen and many other heads of state and leading politicians. In 1953 they included then US Vice-President Richard Nixon and his wife, Pat (left), seen presenting Lord and Lady Norrie with a photograph of US President Dwight Eisenhower.
