Premier House is more than the prime minister’s official residence. In addition to hosting the occasional cabinet or caucus meeting, it is used for meetings and ceremonies and to entertain official visitors such as Prince William (left), seen in 2010 wielding barbecue tongs while Prime Minister John Key quenches his thirst.
