Marching to the cenotaph

Image
Marching to the cenotaph

Veterans of the Gallipoli campaign march to the Wellington cenotaph to take part in the public service on the morning of Anzac Day in 1958. This parade and service followed dawn ceremonies. Since the 1980s war veterans have become much fewer in number, and their descendants have often marched in their place.
