I wonder if you are still researching Thomas Stoddart Lambert. I began researching my husband Nick's grandfather, Ebenezer Thomas Stoddart Lambert yesterday and discovered that he was one of Thomas and Mary Nicol's 12 children. We know that Ebenezer died a tragic death on the Rona Bay wharf in 1926. His widow, Nona Gwendolynne (Gray), was left with three children, Yvonne (Peggy), Patricia and Gavin. In her old age she lived with Patricia and her husband David and their two boys, Nicholas and David.
You probably have more information than we do, but if there any gaps we can fill in I'd be happy to help.

If this is still valid Alan Stoddart Lambert was my grandad (& his grandson I believe, need to check with my mum). I actually also remember an article my grandma had about that wharf incident. I know there was a lot of literature/photos from that side of the family as I was into it when I was younger but would have to find out where it went after my grandma passed in 2005.
