An older boy chemist

In February 2002 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Alan MacDiarmid was presented with a specially reprinted copy of The boy chemist, a book that whetted his appetite for chemistry as a child. MacDiarmid is seen here examining the book with Royal Society of New Zealand member George Jones and Lynne Jackett from the National Library of New Zealand.
