Caring for veterans: Montecillo veterans' home

Ralph Caradus, 83 (left), and Phil Smith (86) proudly wore their military decorations for the 2009 Anzac Day service at Montecillo War Veterans Home and Hospital, where they were resident. Montecillo opened in 1918 in Mornington, Dunedin. In 2006 its residents moved to this new, purpose-built facility in St Kilda.
