Lyttelton Masonic Lodge interior (5th of 5)

Lyttelton Masonic Lodge interior

This Masonic lodge in Lyttelton probably dated from 1858. It had the distinctive decor of Masonic lodges, with the patterned floor, the compasses on the wall and the seating on the dias for Grand Lodge officers and past masters.  The lodge was badly damaged in the earthquake of 22 February 2011.
