Paper drive (2nd of 2)

Paper drive

Mr G. Twiner, Rozane Blair and Craig Twiner take part in a paper drive for the Scouts at Waitārere Beach in Horowhenua in 1969. Scouts, Cubs and Brownies often held paper or bottle drives to raise funds for charity or community groups. This was all part of being an active citizen – a key tenet of the movement.
