Experience of mental illness: schizophrenia

Bob Mullins, from Wainuiomata, near Wellington, had paranoid schizophrenia and went public about his illness in 1992, after an incident involving another person who had schizophrenia. He revealed that he had behaved violently towards his wife Wai and their three children for years until, at her insistence, he was given medical treatment.
