Street appeal symbols

Street appeal symbols

A range of badges, stickers, buttons and other items are handed out to people who donate money to voluntary organisations during street appeals. These ensure public recognition of the symbol associated with the charity – for example, the daffodil for the Cancer Society, the pink ribbon for the Breast Cancer Foundation and the red poppy for the RSA (Royal New Zealand Returned and Services’ Association).
