A gay and lesbian fair has been held annually in Wellington since the mid-1980s. This photo of the 2008 Out in the Square fair shows Mani Bruce Mitchell (right), executive director of the Intersex Trust Aotearoa New Zealand, with a colleague at the trust's secondhand stall. The Intersex Trust provides information, education and training on services for intersex people and their families.
