Ed Hillary and June Mulgrew visit the Solu Khumbu in Nepal in 1984. Hillary and Mulgrew lived in India in the late 1980s while Hillary was the New Zealand ambassador, and they travelled extensively in the region. They married in 1989, the year Hillary retired.
