Story: Alternative health therapies

Massage treatment (3rd of 3)

Massage treatment

Massage therapists at the Queenstown Chiropractic Clinic treat three men after a day's golfing. Massage was the most popular alternative health treatment identified by the Ministry of Health's 2006/07 New Zealand Health Survey. 10.2% of survey respondents had experienced a massage treatment in the last 12 months, almost double the number for the next most popular alternative therapy (chiropractic).

This is the most up-to-date data available, as the annual survey has not measured alternative health practitioner use since 2006/07.
