Cuba Street Carnival

Performers appear in the Cuba Street Carnival parade in 2009. Street theatre and parades emerged in New Zealand cities from the late 1990s. In Wellington the Cuba Street Carnival involved street stalls, street performers and an exuberant Saturday-night parade.
