China–New Zealand free-trade agreement

Steven Wong, CEO of potato-chip maker Fresher Food in Auckland, holds chips in the company’s East Tamaki factory in 2008. The company doubled production to meet Chinese demand, which was expected to increase further as the free-trade agreement signed with China that year came into force.
