Stewart Plaza, Christchurch, 2009

Stewart Plaza, Christchurch, 2009

A group of young people sit and chat in Stewart Plaza, central Christchurch. The inner city is a place where different subcultures and trends emerge and find a home. People get together in shops, cafés, entertainment venues, public spaces and on the streets themselves. Pedestrian malls like Stewart Plaza are popular meeting spots – and good places for people to display themselves.
