Clive River

Clive River

The Clive River runs down through the Heretaunga plains and merges at the coast with the Ngaruroro and Tūtaekurī rivers. Clive township, on the banks of the river, is vulnerable to flooding. The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council dredges the river at regular intervals to reduce the flood risk and improve the water flow.
