Hutt Hospital topping-off ceremony

Dr Harold Turbott of the Wellington Hospital Board (right) helps with the topping-off ceremony (a builders’ rite which celebrates the completion of a building’s structure) on the roof of Hutt Hospital’s six-floor clinical services building in December 1977. Downer Construction erected the building.
