Story: Insurance

Prevention better than cure

Colin Beyer and Mabel Yarrall demonstrating back exercises.

The Accident Compensation Commission (ACC) also works to prevent accidents and cut the cost of recovery and treatment. This 1991 photo shows ACC chair Colin Beyer learning a back exercise from injury prevention manager Mabel Yarrall.
