Following my research which brings me to this page, I wish to acknowledge Peter And David Duncan for their invention and manufacture of the 2 furrow plow I recently rescued from a paddock just north of Rotorua. I saw this plow exposed to the weather having passed it over many years, I thought I could get that back in use but would need to reconfigure it to pull behind a tractor. Despite the degree of rust, corrosion pitting and bent, and missing parts, I have it working really well. There are community groups who are anxious to grow their own food and that is what inspired me to look to the past and appreciate how the early pioneers and colonists did things. This machine would have been the Rolls Royce of the time in which it was manufactured, being 1876 to 1883. I only found this out today by discovering the casting on the spoke wheels reading " P & D. D. "
