Teens' mobiles

In 2007 New Zealand teenagers’ use of mobile phones was amongst the highest in the world. They were a canny bunch, who tended to text rather than talk. Like 14-year-old Josh White, shown here, many had two mobiles, one for Telecom, the other for Vodafone, allowing them to take advantage of the texting specials offered by both major providers.
