Greymouth taxi pioneer

Herbert McGlashan of Greymouth, believed to be the owner-operator of Greymouth’s first taxi – a 1912 Ford – poses with two children. Kennedy Brothers also operated in Greymouth around 1912, developing what became the West Coast’s largest taxi and bus operation.
