Flowers for export

Louise Sheehan, chair of the New Zealand Flower Exporters Association in 2006, shows off some cut flowers prepared for export. Cut-flower exports developed during the 1960s and 1970s, when regular flights began to key markets in Europe, Japan and the United States.
